Kohaku

Kohaku are the King of Koi, the type of Koi from which all other types derived. They are stunning white bodied (think the white slopes of Mount Fuji) Koi with red markings, or “steps”. Our Kohaku koi for sale have the renowned coloration of Kohaku Koi, with sharp edges and obvious distinction between the red and white body colors, with no fading into each other. Our top tip to watch out for when buying Kohaku Koi: the more “steps” on the body, the higher the quality of the Koi (see more tips here in our Kohaku Koi buying guide).
